The hypercardioid capsule is most effective in minimizing noise and off-axis feedback caused by adjacent monitor speakers, instruments, etc. The omnidirectional capsule features a uniform signal response at the direct and off-axis sections for a wide pickup and minimal wind and handling noise.All sE mic capsules are entirely built by hand; even the chassis and flight cases are built in-house.
