Based on sE Electronics’ award-winning sE2200 cardioid condenser microphone, the multi-pattern sE2300 uses the same state-of-the-art components and introduces a shorter, optimized signal path to provide even better performance and clarity. Equipped with cutting-edge surface-mounted electronic components with extremely tight tolerances, the sE2300 offers brilliant sound quality.

Many modern condenser microphones use backplate or electret designs, but the sE2300 features a true externally polarized condenser capsule, hand-crafted and individually tuned in the sE factory in Shanghai to deliver unparalleled performance. sE2300’s custom transformer delivers stellar depth and weight to the overall sonic image, while the heavily shielded housing ensures noise-free operation.

Versatile Features

With a variety of new pattern choices and additional features like pad and filter options, the sE2300 offers a smooth, polished sound with enhanced versatility. Capable of recording in omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure-eight pickup patterns, the sE2300 offers total control over the balance between direct and ambient sound.

The -10 dB and -20 dB pad switches provide extended dynamic range, while the selectable 80 Hz or 160 Hz filters help eliminate low-frequency rumble or excessive bass caused by the proximity effect. The sE2300 also includes an all-metal chassis to provide enhanced noise rejection.
