The set includes the CMC 1 U microphone amplifier, the MK 41 supercardioid capsule, and the KMIT shotgun capsule, providing uncompromising solutions for both indoor and outdoor dialogue recording.

INDOOR DIALOGUE RECORDING

For interior recording applications, the MK 41 delivers the controlled pickup pattern and natural sound character required for professional dialogue capture. Its polar pattern remains exceptionally consistent across the entire frequency spectrum, strongly attenuating sounds from the sides and rear while maintaining minimal coloration. This results in clear, natural dialogue reproduction even in challenging acoustic environments.

OUTDOOR RECORDING PERFORMANCE

When working outdoors, the KMIT shotgun capsule provides the additional directivity needed for location sound recording. Derived directly from the acclaimed CMIT series, the KMIT offers the same high level of acoustic performance, combining focused directivity with minimal coloration of off-axis sound. Switching between the MK 41 and KMIT capsules takes only seconds, allowing boom operators to adapt quickly to changing environments.

COMPACT COLETTE AMPLIFIER

At the heart of the set is the compact CMC 1 U Colette amplifier. Despite being approximately one-third the length of the CMC 6, it matches or exceeds the larger model’s electrical performance. As part of the Colette series, the CMC 1 U is compatible with any MK capsule, allowing users to expand their microphone collection without replacing the amplifier body.
