The RTW TouchMonitor TM7R is a loudness monitor for radio production. This version features the TouchMonitor TMR7 without table-top frame, without tablestand and without power supply, for mounting into front panels, e. g. mixing consoles. This so-called OEM version is the "raw" version with no enclosure allowing you to mount the TouchMonitor in your own environment. Also, the OEM version can be expanded with a rack-mount kit to fit any standard 19" rack in a machine room or OB van.
Loudness, true peak, PPM, vectorscope, moving-coil instruments, RTA, and correlation: The TMR7 TouchMonitor 4-channel solution featuring 7“ touchscreen and the unique TouchMonitor operating concept integrates all metering options required in radio broadcasting to a solution made to measure. The four audio inputs provided by the two AES3 XLR ports are flexibly configurable for mono, stereo, or multichannel sources, providing separate instruments for each source. This allows parallel monitoring of the on-air signal and a PFL source for example.
The fully scalable, modular software concept allows flexible configuration according to your needs. The 4-channel basic software (4x Mono, 2x Stereo, 2x Mono and 1x Stereo, Peak Hold, Phase Meter, Global Keyboard, Gain-Reduction) can extensively be expanded by activating optional software licenses like Multichannel Mode, Loudness, RTA and others. The current firmware version provides measurements of immersive surround formats. On new devices with appropriate audio interface, these signals can also come from AoIP data streams now.
