You can also turn each engine on/off with a press, set and reset split points, and quickly balance levels with dynamic LED-equipped knobs that show status at a glance.

Four rear-panel jacks support numerous floor-control options, including basic hold/damper pedals plus footswitches and expression pedals for customized control of various parameters. Two dedicated USB inputs are also available to connect external MIDI controllers such as the Roland A-49 or A-PRO series.

Organize and recall sounds with 512 Scenes, each containing tone, effects, and parameter settings you can tailor for every song selection. Use 128 Scene Chains to organize up to 128 Scenes for rapid-fire selection through different stage setlists. Eight special EX Scenes automatically save changes as you go, perfect for building setups in rehearsals and addressing last-minute additions to the night’s setlist.

The speedy V-STAGE DSP eliminates the sound roadblocks that plague less powerful keyboards. Scene Remain provides smooth and natural transitions with delay/reverb carryover and no chopped-off notes. And with abundant polyphony, you can take on the most complex musical pieces without worry.

Using the Master section on the V-STAGE panel, you can easily shape your overall sound to suit the environment you’re playing in. Balance the entire output with a three-band EQ and variable midrange control. And use the stereo line input to mix in an external instrument such as a drum machine or keyboard. There’s even a convenient XLR mic input for singing, complete with a dedicated panel knob for level adjustment.
