The Melodium P22T Rack Stereo Tube Microphone Preamp is a 2-channel preamp in sleek 2U rack-mount chassis with ultra low-noise circuitry delivering exceptionally detailed sound quality. The P22T is inspired by the legendary Ampex 351 valve microphone preamp and features old school, vintage analog warmth with a contemporary low-noise design. Two 12AX7 and one 12AU7 tubes per unit provide 80 dB gain and a full range across the frequency spectrum. You can toggle input impedance between 50 and 200 ohms optimizing performance for either vintage and modern microphones. The P22T is especially useful for bringing out the best performances from ribbon microphones.
