The Teegarden Audio PPC 125 Pure Path Condenser Microphone is a rugged transformer-less cardioid condenser microphone for professional and semi-professional recording, and live sound reinforcement. The PPC 125 has a wide smooth frequency response which gives it a natural sound. It preserves the delicate timbre of acoustic instruments, yet it can handle high sound pressure levels up to 140 dB. Self-noise is very low permitting clean, low-noise recordings. The PPC 125 has a 25 mm capsule which is larger than a typical microphone in this class. The larger capsule provides, lower noise, higher sensitivity, and extended low-end similar to a large-diaphragm vocal microphone.
