Product Description

The Alder Audio H44S is a symmetrical ribbon mic derived from Alder's innovative H44 design, designed specifically for users who value a symmetrical front and back response more than the versatility of two different vocings in one mic. The sound of the H44S is very similar to the back side of the H44, which is the smoother and more open voicing. So if you are looking for a classic symmetrical figure 8 ribbon that is a great fit for mid-side or Blumlien recordings, this is mic is a great option.
