With the expansion of digital recording gear over the past couple decades, the connections have been modified to suit the current market. This can sometimes leave older connections outdated, making them hassle to connect to your current interface. This doesn't mean your older gear has no place in your rig, you just need to find the right cable to connect to the modern piece you're using.
Digital cables are the perfect way to expand connectivity in your recording rig. Vintage King offers everything you would need from MADI to DANTE, Fiber Optic MADI cables, AES/EBU, Digilink, DB25 digital snakes, or any combination of connections you are looking for.
Most modern interfaces use DB25 connections. They integrate this cable to their interfaces to cut down on the size of the unit, while still providing the most channels of I/O as possible. A DB25 cable connects with one connection from your interface, and can break out to as many of the specific connections you need on the other end, from XLR, standard ¼”, TRS ¼”, and more.
