Product Description

Another of the classic ribbons from RCA. Great on guitar amps - the dual layer filter protects the ribbon from high SPLs, so record bass cabs and drums without fear!

The BK-5B is not as large as the RCA 77, with a flat frequency response from 30 to 20,000 Hz. Its original application was for radio and TV broadcast facilities. It can be stand mounted or hung from its built-in boom adapter, and a matching transformer switch is mounted in the microphone body. 3 position tone selector (M-V1-V2) acts as a bass roll-off for Music and Voice settings.
