Amp simulators are more popular than ever, but they present a unique set of problems for guitar and bass players who want to interface them with a PA system. While amp sims can produce line-level outputs, they often have ¼" unbalanced connectors that aren't designed for long cable runs, and they encounter hum and buzz from ground loops when connected directly to the PA. The Radial Engineering Highline Stereo is ideal for players who utilize amp simulators on their pedalboard. It features premium Jensen 1:1 transformers that retain the full volume from the amp sim while providing isolation that breaks up ground loops and protects against phantom power, along with balanced outputs that can be run over long distances without signal degradation.
CONNECT YOUR AMP SIM TO THE PA
The Highline Stereo allows you to send the signal from your guitar amp sim right to the PA while retaining the signal level and sound quality. The Jensen transformers inside provide isolation to reduce noise while protecting your gear from accidental phantom power activation.
SUM A STEREO AMP SIM TO MONO
The Highline Stereo can also be configured to accept a stereo signal and sum both channels to the XLR output, so you don’t have to change any cabling on your pedalboard when channel space is limited at the PA. When the XLR outputs are summed together, the Thru outputs can still operate in stereo.
