These three-way monitors are designed to be soft mounted in medium to large control rooms. They have two custom 305mm (12") radial chassis bass drivers with Quested a custom 75mm (3") soft dome mid-range and a 34mm tweeter. Although extensively installed in recording studios as a stereo pair. The Quested Q212 is now establishing itself as a popular choice for users requiring a 5.1 system where it is frequently used in conjunction with the QSB118 sub bass, which is used for bass extension (where exceptional levels of bass is required) and/or the effects channel. The electronics package consists of four AP800 amplifiers, capable of delivering 1400W RMS to each monitor, and two analogue crossovers with the option of a digital crossovers, if preferred.
