Most audio engineers mix in the box because of the plug-in usability: total recall, automation, settings comparison, etc. They love digital, however, it’s always missing something crucial... the sound. The Wes Audio Mimas is a solution for that: hardware analog gear with digital control, benefits from both worlds: analog and digital. Thanks to the pure analog path, this device acts like proper analog gear but the digital control gives you exactly the same spectrum of compressor control possibilities as you can find in a digital plug-in. The proprietary GCon protocol, which allows to communicate hardware with DAW, makes operating fast and easy to use. The Mimas is the world’s first 1176 style compressor with digital control through VST/AAX plug-in.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Attack time: 20us – 800us

Release time: 50ms – 1100ms

Compression ratio: 4:1; 8:1; 12:1; 20:1; all button mode

True Bypass

SC High Pass filter – 60, 90, 150 Hz

Output impedance : 600 Ohms

Freq. response : 20 Hz 20 kHz (± 1 dB)

Signal to noise ratio SNR : >83 dB

Power consumption: 3 W

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/wesaudio-mimas-500-series-fet-compressor-100629-used_413425_1.jpg?v=1787095914
