spl-madicon-madi-to-usb-interface
SPL Madicon MADI to USB Interface

The SPL Madicon is a USB digital interface connecting up to 64 inputs and 64 outputs via USB to the computer. Madicon introduces SmartMADI, which allows daisy chaining Madison 16-ch AD/DA converters and communicating sample rate changes through the MADI stream. It features an additional optical Toslink output for channels 1/2 to allow connection to a DAC in the control room while the Madisons operate in the recording rooms. Instead of many analog wires with expensive wall connectors only two tiny MADI cables are required.

Madicon:

USB audio interface

Up to 64 input & output channels via MADI

Additional optical TOSLINK stereo output (Ch1/2)

24-bit, up to 192 kHz

Hi-Speed USB with detector-LED

USB bus powered

Internal/external clock switch

External clock Lock-LED

Windows & Mac

Zero-latency monitoring (FPGA Monitoring Mixer)

Monitor Mixer:

World-class monitor mixer with innovative features

Control room mixer and six headphones mixers

Intuitive and fast workflow

Talkback

Activity Monitor: 128 channels MADI stream metering and routing display

MADI-Splitter – one signal can distributed to up to 63 channels

Plus many game-changing features

64-track recorder:

Recording without DAW - direct to drive

Automatic Rec Enable

Display of remaining recording time

Automatic file labelling

Solo pre listen

SmartMADI:

MADI becomes more user friendly, easier to setup and more modern

SPL's Madicon and Madisons can be daisy-chained like Audio-Over-IP products, but are much easier to configure and more reliable in operation

No additional MADI router required

Sample rate changes are now communicated over MADI and Madison follow automatically - very convenient

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0658/8848/5479/files/spl-madicon_116580_1_fd91c02e-b1e2-4a7c-baf2-62dce5ca2104.jpg?v=1787092971
