As his first fully discrete mixing design in over 30 years, the 5088 incorporates and improves upon many of the same concepts, such as single-sided, fully discrete amplification, and complete transformer isolation, which made those original designs classic. Unlike many of those classics however, maintenance is no longer a full time job.

The circuit topology of the 5088 is unprecedented. With custom transformers coupling every input and output, (even the inserts!) the sweet musical performance and bulletproof isolation expected from a Rupert Neve Design are assured. For signal amplification and control, high voltage, discrete op-amp cards have been developed especially for the 5088 that eliminate crossover distortion while offering extended headroom, dynamic range, and frequency response.

CONSOLE INFO

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Dimensions (WxDxH): 262.8 cm (103.5 inches), 105 cm (41.33 inches), 58.2 cm (22.9 inches)

Weight: approximately 1085 lb (492 kg) when fully loaded

Cosmetic condition 1-10 (10 being "new"): 9

Working order 1-10 (10 being "new"): 9

Does console have direct outs?: Yes

Are direct outs transformer balanced?: Yes

how many lines inputs at mix?: 56

Are known modifications documented?: none

when was it last serviced?: N/A (never needed)

list any spare parts included: none

ACCESSORIES

Brand/type of patch bay: Bittree ProStudio 9625i

Quantity of patch bay(s): 13

Location of patch bay: right

Brand and length of cabling: Jumperz 10-35 feet

Brand and type of furniture: Sterling Modular with patch bay on right rack on left

Is stand included?: Yes

Is producer's desk included?: No
