Neve 33609 / 81069 Stereo Compressor/Limiter #0112 (Vintage)

The Neve 33609 is a classic stereo compressor/limiter, the successor to the legendary 32264 - with all of the same functions, but packaged as a stereo unit in an outboard rackmount form. The 81069 is a discrete version of the 33609, but with external PSU.

The compressor section is known for its fast attack and adjustable release versatility with a quick, low distortion limiter that is virtually invisible sounding. Great on stereo mix and instrument back buss work (killer on drum or guitar buss) let alone individual tracks and vocals. Many feel it is the finest solid state vocal comp lim ever made. Fast and punchy.

• Ratio: 1.5:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 6:1.
• Threshold: -20 to +10 dBm in 2 dB increments
• Attack time: fixed 5ms
• Recovery time: 100 ms, 400 ms, 800 ms, 1500 ms, Auto 1 & 2
