Same as a 1073, but with a single mic/line input.

Classic, discrete 3 band EQ/Pre, with hi pass filter. Fat and pillowy low end, with the perfect midrange points and a sweet 12k top end.

EQ controls are:

• Fixed 12 kHz high-shelf
• Highpass filter at four frequencies (50, 80, 160, 300 Hz)
• Low EQ at four frequencies (35-60-110-220 Hz)
• Hi-mid EQ at six frequencies (360-700 Hz - 1.6-3.2-4.8-7.2 KHz)

Also includes 30 dB of range for line gain or 60 dB for mic gain, phase reverse, and EQ bypass

The Neve 1073 is justifiably legendary for its beautiful and unique sound, as demonstrated by its use in so many high-end studios, on so many famous recordings. The history of the 1073 goes back forty years, to May of 1970, when one era ended and another began. On May 8, the Beatles released their final album, Let It Be, and two days later, Rupert Neve released the original 1073 microphone pre-amplifier with EQ. It remains the most desirable Class A discrete transistor mic pre to this day.
