Product Description

The Neumann TLM 67 is an award-winning large diaphragm condenser microphone that captures the sound of Neumann’s legendary U 67 in a modern design. Equipped with transformerless solid state circuit capable of modeling tube sound characteristics, the TLM 67 puts the power of a classic tube condenser in your hands for a fraction of the price.

THE SOUND OF THE 1960s

Inspired by the U 67, which defined the sound of the 1960s, the TLM 67 perfectly captures the retro sound of the original. Through innovative FET circuitry, the TLM 67 is able to create authentic analog tube sounds with stunning realism. Equipped with the the classic K 67 capsule (also used in the U 67 and U 87 A microphones), the TLM 67 delivers the same nearly-linear frequency response of the U 67.

AUTHENTIC ANALOG SOUNDS

Instead of using clunky electron tubes like the original U 67, the TLM 67’s head amplifier uses reliable transformerless solid state technology with a special sound design that closely reproduces the sonics of tube circuits. At high SPLS, the TLM 67 will intentionally produce soft saturation to simulate the THD of vintage tube mics.

APPLICATIONS

Equipped with three polar patterns, a built in -10 dB pad, and a dedicated high-pass filter, the TLM 67 is a versatile studio workhorse. Choose from selectable omni, cardioid and figure-8 polar patterns to find the perfect balance of ambiance.

While the TLM 67 sounds superb on vocals and spoken word, its essentially linear frequency response makes it a versatile microphone for a wide range of applications. Ideal for acoustic and electric guitar, piano, percussion, drums overheads, and much more, the TLM 67 is bound to be your new go-to microphone.
