The Neumann TLM 107 is a multi-pattern condenser microphone that combines the brand’s innovative transformerless circuit with an all new capsule design for unparalleled sound quality. Featuring intuitive controls for pre-attenuation, high-pass filtering, and five selectable polar patterns, the Neumann TLM 107 large diaphragm studio microphone offers the flexibility you need to record any instrument in a pro audio workspace or a home studio.
The TLM 107 uses Neumann’s newly developed double diaphragm capsule, inspired by the new D-01 large diaphragm condenser digital microphone. While the linear setting offers linear sound reproduction below 8 kHz, it uses a slight high frequency boost to add brilliance and freshness to recordings. The TLM 107 uses an acoustically optimized grille carefully designed to prevent popping sounds from plosives and minimize sensitivity to humidity and other environmental influences.
Ideal for percussion and stringed instruments, the TLM 107 delivers a clean, natural sound unlike any other microphone in its class.
The Neumann TLM 107 condenser microphone uses a completely new user interface to adjust various settings on the microphone itself for pro audio engineers and new music makers alike. A single navigation switch is used to set the low cut filter, polar pattern and pre-attenuation levels using LED indicators.
Select between traditional cardioid, omnidirectional, and figure-8 patterns—as well as wide-angle cardioid and hypercardioid for the perfect amount of ambience. The low cut filter features three settings: linear, 40 Hz, or 100 Hz. The 40 Hz setting is great for rolling off unwanted interference noise, while the 100 HZ setting is ideally suited for speech and vocal recordings.
Neumann’s legendary transformerless circuit offers a massive dynamic range, with a maximum sound pressure level of 141 dB SPL. Engage the two-stage pre-attenuation setting to record signals as loud as 153 dB SPL without distortion.
