The Neumann SG 287 has a swivel mount has a 5/8"-27 thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2"- and 3/8" stands. The microphone mount of the SG 287 is metal.

Next to elastic shock mount bands, this is probably the most inexpensive thing you can purchase from or for a Neumann Mic. Well made, very functional and worth it, if you need it. You just don’t always need a shock mount.
