Neumann KM 184 A Small Diaphragm Microphone - Nextel Black
Product Description
The Neumann KM 184 A combines the KK 184 capsule with the the analog output stage KM A as part of the the Neumann KM A/D small diaphragm microphone system. The Neumann system KM A/D is a modular microphone system for even the most demanding applications. Eight different small diaphragm capsules (KK 120 … KK 185) may be combined with either an analog output stage (KM A) or a digital AES 42 output stage (KM D).
Capsule and Output Stage
The Neumann KK 184 is a cardioid capsule for the KM series digital microphone. The cardioid polar pattern works to minimize off-axis noise and feedback.
The analog, transformerless output stage KM A operates with P48 phantom power. A switchable -10 dB preattenuation allows for sound pressure levels of up to 152 dB (depending on capsule type) without distortion artifacts.
Features:
- Directional characteristic: cardioid
- Part of the modular microphone system KM A/D
- Comprehensive range of accessories
