The Meris MercuryX builds upon the spirit of the Mercury7, pushing it far beyond sci-fi into the most flexible and studio-quality reverb ever created in a pedal format. Its modular reverb system format breaks the paradigm of preset reverb types and inspires new discoveries. MercuryX features the same easy to use UI as LVX, making it immediately intuitive to navigate.
MercuryX features eight of Meris's custom reverb algorithms incorporated into the same modular system UI/architecture introduced with the award winning LVX delay pedal. Ultraplate and Cathedra are from Mercury7 and are inspired by the moody sci-fi reverbs featured in Blade Runner, while the 78 Room, Plate and Hall structures are inspired by the venerable sounds of a studio classic. Spring, Prism, and Gravity are brand new structures unique to MercuryX.
MercuryX features an assignable expression pedal control for multiple parameters simultaneously. An expressive Hold Modifier switch provides on-the-fly control. It includes MIDI I/O over standard MIDI Din jacks for MIDI implementation of continuous control parameters, preset send and receive, and beat clock synchronization.
As with all Meris pedals, MercuryX employs a premium analog signal path with high-quality analog JFET input section plus pristine 24-bit AD/DA with 32-bit floating-point DSP. It also features a digitally-controlled analog mix bus, stereo I/O (separate jacks for each), and switchable input/output headroom level to accommodate instrument or synthesizer/line-level input signals.
Great reverb "pedal". Sounds awesome and the modulation options are nice. It has a slight learning curve, but not that bad. I'm using this for tracking and mixing with outboard gear. It's great having the line level ins/outs so I don't have to use my Radial EXTC I use with more traditional pedals.
