Product Description
Priced within the reach for any consumer the Mackie C200 is the ultra-portable speaker that can sound great on stage, installed in a restaurant, or in a studio. The Mackie C200's ergonomic design gives the user plenty of options. Fly it up on a wall to bring it up a to a less visible level for sound installations, floor it and use it as a monitor, or place it on a stand to project sound on stage or as a studio monitor. With such a compact size and power the Mackie C200 is ready for whatever you want to put it through.
Sound installation power-house EAW teamed up with Mackie to create the woofer the Mackie C200 uses for sound projection. EAW took their experience building speaker systems for the Vatican, Olympic arenas and much more to create custom LF drivers and HF drivers for the C200. The LF drivers can output up 500 watts of peak power. This is achieved by using a 2" voice coil that can handle such wattage with a cone tuned to reproduce accurately any frequency between 59 Hz - 3000 Hz. Couple them with a high frequency titanium driver and horn able to reproduce the higher frequencies you get complete tonal separation for accurate sound dispersion at any volume. Built-in the Mackie C200 is a low impedance compensated crossover, pre-tuned for you to provide the correct balance of frequencies to send to the HF and LF respectively allowing you to add even more C200s to your sound without worrying about EQ differences.
