Yamaha Rio1608-D3 I/O Rack with Dante Connectivity

The Yamaha Rio1608-D3 is a high-performance I/O rack with 16 analog inputs, 8 outputs, and built-in Dante audio networking. Designed and manufactured to achieve outstanding sonic transparency in keeping with Yamaha’s “natural sound” philosophy, it plays a vital role in supporting the performance capabilities of consoles including RIVAGE PM and the DM7 Series. It features an improved dynamic range and lower noise floor, Delay/Polarity/Gain functionality on the output port, a headphone jack for listening to the sound directly on the I/O box, and an additional network port dedicated to the control. Easy setup functions are readily available from the mini LCD.

Rio-D3 improved the noise level from the previous models, especially the noise level for the lower gain position. Rio-D3 inherits Yamaha’s natural sound concept - the ideal starting point for sound creation is a totally natural or transparent sound. It will provide natural sound with a lower noise level in any gain position.
Delay/Polarity/Gain function on the output port provide Yamaha mixer systems with even greater flexibility. The addition of Output Port Delay, which was requested on the RIVAGE PM system, enhances the system's appeal.

I/O setting is available on the LCD (using the same LCD as RPio) for easy setup functions readily available from the mini LCD. The headphone jack helps troubleshoot the input/output sound on the I/O device. The network port dedicated to the control separated from the Dante provides a flexible network setting and meets the request to have two individual network ports for Dante and control.
