The Behringer DR18SUB Active 2400 Watt 18" PA Subwoofer is a 2400-Watt active subwoofer designed to deliver ultimate low-frequency reproduction for both live and playback applications. Equipped with a powerful 18" long-excursion driver, this subwoofer provides incredibly deep bass, high sound pressure, and precise ultra-low frequency reproduction for powerful punch and impact. It’s the perfect match for active 2-way loudspeakers, thanks to its built-in stereo crossover.
The DR18SUB features a 2400-Watt Class D amplifier and state-of-the-art DSP technology for immense power and exceptional sonic performance. With an intelligent limiter built in, your subwoofer is protected from damage while delivering maximum sound output, keeping the party going all night long without burnout.
Behringer’s LF transducers are designed specifically for each application. The DR18SUB features a custom-engineered 18" driver that produces extreme deep bass with low distortion and high sound pressure output, setting it apart from the competition. Expect massive, powerful bass that adds definition and clarity to your sound.
The DR18SUB offers balanced XLR inputs and outputs with multiple output modes to suit your preferences. In Link Mode, full-range signals pass through to the satellite speakers, while in Xover Mode, only signals above the cutoff frequency are sent to the satellites. The cutoff frequency is adjustable from 90 Hz to 120 Hz, allowing for precise tuning. The Level knob controls input gain, and the Phase switch lets you reverse the output phase to prevent frequency cancellation between the subwoofer and the full-range speakers. LEDs monitor operational status, including power, signal presence, and input overloads, while the RMS and Peak limiter ensures the protection of the driver.
The DR18SUB can reach sound pressure levels of up to 129 dB across a 30–150 Hz frequency range. Its standard 35 mm (1.375") pole socket allows for easy mounting of full-range satellite speakers. Whether you’re setting up a jazz combo in a dinner club or an intense dance floor experience at a large club, the DR18SUB can handle both solo or paired setups to suit your needs.
