eMotion LV1 Classic boasts a double-precision 32-bit float mix engine that delivers unmatched clarity and headroom at sample rates of 44.1–96 kHz. Renowned in the live sound industry, the proprietary LV1 mix engine leverages Waves' Tech Grammy-winning expertise in digital signal processing to deliver industry-leading sound quality.
LV1 Classic's 16 inputs are powered by original-design, digitally controlled Waves Signature Preamps. With fully discrete analog circuits, these pristine preamps deliver maximum clarity and headroom, an incredibly low noise floor, and lightning-fast transient response. The added HMX feature allows you to choose between pure transparent preamp sound and rich harmonic enhancement per input.

eMotion LV1 Classic's large 21.5" touch screen allows you pinpoint touch control of everything that matters in your live mix, and beyond. Detailed mixer and channel functions, as well as feature-rich processors such as the eMo channel strip plug-ins, are laid out in front of you conveniently without struggling for space.
LV1 Classic's all-new tactile control surface is built for comfort and speed. The 17 newly designed motorized faders are designed for an organic feel, with optimal resistance to ensure both reliability and responsiveness. 17 multi-purpose encoders allow extensive customization of control important mixer functions and user-defined functions, including mapped plug-in control. Integrated LCD metering per channel provides extra instant visual feedback.
LV1 Classic's two independent Mixer windows (Mixer 1 and Mixer 2) allow you to assign each to different uses. For example, view your channels' processing on one, and other functions such as DCA/Spill on another. Customize the two windows to get you quick access to what you need, whether different channel groups or your choice of what to show per channel at any given time (whether preamps, panning, gain, aux sends, routing, etc.)
LV1's Mixer Modes are intuitively laid out to let you quickly view and control specific functions per channel. From your inputs, to your processing rack, to quick dynamics and EQ control, to FX, Monitors or Routing—you can quickly focus on what you need at any given moment, over multiple channels.
LV1's remote apps allow control of LV1's functions from anywhere in the house and from the stage. MixMirror gives you full remote control over your mixer & plug-in settings from an iPad by mirroring the LV1 screen. MyFOH offers independent iPad control of the mixer levels, panning and sends from anywhere in the venue. MyMon gives performers mobile control over their own monitor mixes.
On top of LV1 Classic's already-stellar sound, the console comes with 16 industry-proven processors included. From F6 Dynamic EQ to Waves Tune Real-Time, X-FDBK and PSE to R-Comp and H-Delay—these processors are staples in both live sound and studio production, part of the legacy that has made Waves winner of a Technical Grammy™ Award.
LV1 allows you to mix live as creatively as you would in the studio. Waves Tune Real-Time allows live vocal pitch correction, ranging from subtly corrective to full-on creative. H-Delay, R- Verb, Doubler, GTR3, Magma Tube, R-Bass and more allow you to introduce a multitude of studio-quality flavors to your live vocals and instruments.
eMotion LV1 Classic comes with pinpoint precision processors to nip live sound problems at the bud. Handle any scenario quickly and easily with industry-leading tools included in the console, such as F6 Dynamic EQ, PSE for stage mic bleed control, X-FDBK for feedback elimination, the GEQ 30-band EQ—as well as the three eMo channel strip plug-ins (D5, F2, Q4) that cover your dynamics and EQ needs.
Some digital mixers lock you into a pre-defined channel strip for processing. In LV1 processors can be chained flexibly, on any channel, via the 8-slot processing rack per channel. All processors are available for use on all input channels and on all other mix channels—that is, directly on any channel or group/bus—for maximum control of your sound.
The processing included in LV1 Classic is already powerful. But if you want yet more power, you can reach even deeper. Waves processors are staples in both studio production and live sound—and you can upgrade to your choice of over 160 live-optimized plug-ins, individually or in Waves' Live Sound bundles. Upgrades range from analog models of SSL, API and Abbey Road processors, to classic compression like CLA-2A and CLA-76 and much more.
Bring clarity, openness and comfort to in-ear monitors: The eMo IEM plug-in is a software-only upgrade to LV1 consoles, turning your LV1 monitor outputs to immersive at the click of a button. No external hardware is required—simply set any of the LV1's monitor outputs to IEM, and your performers will receive monitor sound in their in-ears, via the Waves MyMon remote control app for LV1.
Easily control events with multiple speakers: The Dugan Speech upgrade provides automatic real-time gain control for up to 64 mics, with UI fully integrated into the LV1.
LV1 Classic's internal DSP engine is powerful enough to support plug-in-rich shows. But if you need more power, adding DSP is as easy as plugging in a single cable. No cumbersome configurations, no special licenses—simply add up to 3 additional Waves SoundGrid DSP servers (plus up to 4 more for backup), and let your processing take off to the stratosphere.
Powered by the same Waves Signature Preamps as LV1 Classic's own inputs, Waves IONIC stageboxes boast the same superior sound, with maximum headroom, exquisite dynamics, and an incredibly low noise floor. (17.2 kg), the total weight of the console inside a flight case (such as this SKB case) is just 68 lb.
