Next-generation 1" multi-pattern dual output studio condenser microphone with 5 selectable preset polar patterns, revolutionary Dual Output Mode, and a full, crisp, and well-balanced sound
The Lewitt LCT 640 TS works as a traditional multi-pattern microphone, a stereo microphone, and a mic that can change the polar pattern after the fact with its Dual Output Mode. The 1" true condenser capsule and high-end specifications guarantee precise recordings. Whatever you record with the LCT 640 TS will sound incredibly detailed. Your vocals sound larger-than-life, your instruments full and vibrant.
It changes the way we think about the recording process. To give you more freedom, the LCT 640 TS features a Dual Output Mode. Engage it, and you'll send the front and the back of the capsule's diaphragm to two individual outputs. This allows for stereo recording and changing the polar pattern after the fact.
You can conveniently change and fine-tune your material recorded via Dual Output Mode. Lewitt have created a plug-in, called the POLARIZER. It allows to set the polar pattern dynamically. Now you can add or subtract room sound in post-production during mixing. By automating the POLARIZER, you can even create unique mixes and effects.
Perfectly-in-phase stereo recording, with a single mic. You can use a single LCT 640 TS to record in stereo by switching to Dual Output Mode. Just point the mic sideways to the source and adapt the stereo width in the mix.
Plug in one 3-pin XLR and you have a large diaphragm multi-pattern condenser mic featuring the following polar patterns: omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid and figure-8.
Hides nothing, captures everything - except plosives and hisses. This efficient magnetic pop filter will effectively reduce pops and hisses without covering 2/3 of your vocal artists face. The most subtle and convenient way of getting the most out of every single recording.
Usually, mid side stereophony can only be done with two microphones. But now, it is way easier to use one LCT 640 TS. Just point the side of the microphone to the signal source and record both outputs on a stereo track in your DAW. Change the panorama for both signals to adjust the stereo width.
Any two LCT 640 TS will always form a matched pair. Add another one and you will get a "matched triplet", and so on. Every single LCT 640 TS undergoes a series of measurements followed by adjustment of the polarization voltage to achieve exactly the same sensitivity in every microphone.
