The Jackson Ampworks Open Back 1×12 Cabinet is a perfect speaker cabinet to complement our entire line of amps and is ideal when you want a tone that is more “airy” and fills out the musical space!

Designed while the American Series amps were being developed, the Open Back 1×12 Cabinet gives you the sense that your tone is coming from every direction and surrounding you as the open back design allows the tone to emanate from both the front and back of the cabinet! As guitarists we work very hard to achieve great tone and certainly one of the most important aspects of that tone is the speaker cabinet that we use. After all, the speaker cabinet is the final link between your amplifier and your ears, therefore it's effect on your tone cannot be understated.

Jackson Ampworks' open back cabinets are constructed using 13-ply Baltic Birch and feature Dovetail joints for unparalleled strength, rigidity and tone. Also included is a steel strap handle, a genuine Switchcraft jack for reliable operation and 12AWG speaker wire for unrestricted tone and performance.
