Steve Firlotte only built four of these in 2005. Absolutely no shortcuts were made in the production of these little mixers; they are built like tanks. Originally built using Inward Connection's SPA-690 amplifier blocks, the owner wished for more warmth, color and punch so this one was sent to Steve Firlotte two years ago to have him completely go through it to ensure it was technically perfect as well as to modify the 8 on board mic preamps and the 16 line inputs to use Firlotte’s more colorful VF-600 amplifier blocks. The results are a huge-sounding, warm, punchy little mixer that rivals many large format discrete consoles sonically due to its very simple and short circuit paths.

With 8 on-board mic preamps, a first class monitor controller, Penny and Giles stereo master fader with bypassable 2 bus insert, and solo/mute for each channel it also offers significantly more functionality than a typical summing mixer. The headphone amp and monitor section remain driven by the clean and high bandwidth Class A discrete SPA-690 amplifiers so the hybrid of discrete amplifiers, over 50 in all, is a perfect combination. Many Cinemag transformers throughout; one on each mic and line input, as well as the direct outputs, and main buss outputs. Hand-made with much attention to detail and un-compromised circuit design that Inward Connections is famous for in this rare little beast. Comes with a beefy 3u rack-mount power supply and associated 10’ power supply cables.
