Modular Synth CV/MIDI

We can't find products matching the selection.

Adding a CV module opens up a whole new world of possibilities to your Eurorack modular synthesizer. Most oscillators, LFOs, sequencers, modulators, and effects modules have the ability to send a copy of the signal out through a CV, or Controlled Voltage output.

The CV output allows you to trigger external Eurorack modules from the module you are sending from. For example, this can be used to send the CV output of a drum sequencer to an external oscillator, which will make the oscillator trigger a sound every time the drums hit. You can also send the output of a synth to an external module that can trigger a variety of functions such as current step, step mode, gate length, current pattern, transpose, repeat mode, ratcheting, scale, filter sweeping, modulation rate, gate functions, and more.

The use of CV outputs can also expand the polyphony of your Eurorack modular synthesizer. Most oscillators can only generate one source at a time, where more advanced units may have the ability to work in “Duo” mode. If you send copies of the oscillator signal through a CV output, you can send the signal into the input of another oscillator, which will then expand the polyphony from one to two notes. The more you expand on this function, the closer you can get to creating full chords that are standard to a digital keyboard.

Be sure to contact your sales rep at Vintage King to find the right CV modules that will best expand the workflow of your Eurorack modular synthesizer.
