Bring classic analog flavor to your modular rig with the Behringer 2600-VCO Analog VCO Module, an authentic reproduction of the original ARP 2600 circuitry. This versatile VCO captures the magic of the legendary synth from the '70s and fits neatly into your Eurorack system—offering vintage tones, modern control, and rock-solid performance at an unbeatable price.
Originally released in the 1970s, the ARP 2600 featured a distinctive analog character thanks to its discrete transistor design and selective use of op-amps. Used by electronic pioneers like Jean Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode, and Stevie Wonder, the 2600 helped shape the sound of modern music. The 2600-VCO brings that legacy into the Eurorack world with a compact, feature-rich design that keeps the spirit of the original alive.
At the heart of this module is a classic analog VCO offering four simultaneous waveforms: sine, triangle, saw, and pulse. Whether you’re creating lush pads, deep basslines, or sharp leads, the 2600-VCO gives you the tonal flexibility you need. Frequency ranges from 10 Hz to 10 kHz (or 0.03 Hz to 30 Hz in LF mode) cover everything from audio-rate oscillation to subsonic modulation. A Fine Tune knob lets you dial things in precisely for clean harmonic blending or creative detuning.
The 2600-VCO isn’t just powerful—it’s highly playable. Manual and CV-controlled Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) allow you to craft fat, evolving tones. The pulse width range can be dialed anywhere from 10% to 90%, making it perfect for rich harmonic layering. A Keyboard On/Off switch toggles between standard VCO and LF (Low Frequency) mode, great for modulation duties.
This module includes separate outputs for each waveform, along with 5 CV inputs for pitch and PWM control. Multiple FM inputs—each with their own attenuator—provide flexible modulation options. The 2600-VCO is fully compatible with keyboards or MIDI/CV converters, so you can easily integrate it into your performance or studio workflow.
The 2600-VCO is designed for easy installation in any standard Eurorack case. Just connect the power cables and mount the module using the included screws. Whether you’re expanding your modular system or just getting started, the 2600-VCO offers classic tone and flexible control in a sleek, vintage-style package.
