Inovonics 201 Compressor/Limiter #280 (Used)

Initially developed in the mid 70s, the Inovonics 201 signal processor used a unique discrete VCA circuit, originally designed for use in mastering audio cassettes, to control the high frequencies on program content. The circuitry proved to be well-suited for the radio industry to use in FM pre-emphasis limiting. Decades later, the 201, with its 'anti-ripple' circuit is still a highly regarded compressor/limiter with a unique and funky tone that's excellent on kick, snare, vocals and especially bass.
