Few artists had a greater impact on rock music in the late 1970s and early 1980s than the young Dutch-born guitarist who entered Sunset Sound Studios in 1978 to record what would become known as the Brown Sound, inspiring and influencing countless guitarists to expand their vocabulary and pursue that distinctive sound. IK worked with Jim Gaustad, who has dedicated his career to precisely re-creating the Brown Sound, to develop a comprehensive anthology of Signature Collections available only for TONEX and TONEX ONE. Covering the Brown Sound’s evolution across six groundbreaking albums, these Tone Models document an artist’s tonal journey while transforming rock guitar forever.
