THE CAPSULE

The original Neumann U47 was produced over a period of 16 years, during which time there were two different capsules, the K47 and the M7. The Heiserman H47tube is available here with the HK47 capsule. For most people, the HK47 capsule will be the best choice because it provides the most balanced tone, and is equally well suited for vintage and modern productions alike.

THE CIRCUIT

Heiserman tested countless transformers, tubes, capacitors, and resistors before settling on the final design of the H47tube. Each of these hand-selected components contributes to the beautiful tone of the H47tube, No expense was spared, ensuring the absolute best performance and sound.

The H47 Tube ships in a Pelican case with custom molded foam. And it's not just any foam -- it's laser cut, cross-linked polyethylene (i.e. the fancy stuff).
