Made in France in the Focal workshop, the Focal Trio6 ST6 expands the new ST6 range with a flagship professional loudspeaker. Built to offer transparency, definition, dynamics and soundstage precision, Trio6’s redesigned drivers have dramatically improved on previous designs. With fresh innovations featured in the new Solo6 and Twin6, Trio6 represents a new chapter in the story of the Focal Professional collection. Innovative speaker drivers, dual Focus mode, disengageable automatic stand-by, laminar port and strengthened cabinet are just some of the features showcased on this versatile speaker, delivering uncompromising performance.

DETAILED AND TRANSPARENT SOUND

Trio6 offers remarkable neutrality across the full sound spectrum. With impressively fluid speaker drivers, its fully analog filtering and carefully considered design make the Focal Trio6 ideal for a wide range of critical listening applications. Equipped with a large laminar port to limit port noise and a strengthened cabinet to improve rigidity and damping, the Trio6 design reduces distortion to a minimum. The effect is dramatically improved playback resolution, linearity and precision of the system. In addition, Trio6 includes a variable high-pass crossover and a 160 Hz crossover to reduce coloration from console reflections.

IMPROVED MIDRANGE AND LOW-FREQUENCY DRIVER DESIGNS

The heart of the Trio6 is its all-new 8” subwoofer, 5” midrange woofer and 1.5” beryllium tweeter. Outfitted with ‘W’ composite sandwich cones, the midrange woofer incorporates TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology for reduced distortion at critical mid frequencies. The new beryllium inverted dome tweeter features an optimized baffle and Focal’s IAL (Infinite Acoustic Loading) design to control resonance. These innovations result in uncompromising neutrality, precise midrange, impactful bass and excellent dynamics.

DUAL FOCUS MODE

Trio6 incorporates the Focus system from the SM9 with an update from the ST6 line—full-range Focus mode. That means Trio6 can also act as a one-way or two-way system, giving you three pairs of monitors in one. Focus mode allows you to easily check how your mix will adapt to smaller systems without the need to compromise space or positioning for additional sets of monitors. Trio6’s sound and versatility make it a professional work tool that will win the confidence of audio engineers, sound designers, composers, beatmakers and producers.
