The Stedman PS101 Proscreen V2 retains the original’s proven Proscreen metal filter design—engineered to eliminate plosive sounds without affecting vocal tone—while incorporating the new Stedman Universal Clamp, first introduced on the Proscreen XL V2. Users of this pop filter design will instantly appreciate the V2 clamp with its universal compatibility with all shapes and sizes of microphone booms or stands.

The Proscreen is a popular pop filter design that has a 4.6-inch diameter metal screen used to eliminate bursts on vocal recordings. The PS101 Proscreen has a 13-inch long heavy duty adjustable gooseneck. The Proscreen pop filter is far more effective than fabric filters. Instead of simply diffusing bursts, the Proscreen redirects airflow downward away from the microphone capsule. Even with close vocal work, the Proscreen pop filter will not allow popping "Ps" or "Bs" to reach the microphone. The large openings in the metal screen allow vocal sound to pass through to the microphone unobstructed and uncolored, preserving critical recorded detail.

The Proscreen PS101 is a professional high quality pop filter that will provide excellent burst prevention for music vocal tracks and voice over recording applications. The patented Proscreen filter material and the high strength metal alloy clamp are both finished with a durable powder coating that will last a lifetime of recording sessions. The V2 features a new clamp that will allow for attachment to all types of microphone boom arms available - standard round boom arms, squared-off booms (like the Rode PSA-1), and larger ones like the Gator Deluxe Broadcast Boom. The clamp will attach to anything up to 1.5" wide.
