Sound Anchors Studio Pro LMS1-56 Adjustable Monitor Stand - Pair

The Sound Anchors Studio Pro LMS1-56 is a width, depth, and height adjustable studio monitor stand designed to accommodate large speakers in far or mid-field setups. The Studio Pro LMS Series provides the same functionality of Sound Anchors' ADMID Series, which are built to order with fixed widths. Because Studio Pro LMS stands are fully adjustable you can change to smaller or larger monitors within a single stand - no need to buy new stands every time you upgrade your monitors!

The LMS1-46 configuration is height adjustable from 8 to 57.5 inches allowing you to dial in positioning for your optimal listening. With an adjustable 16 to 23 inch width, and 12 to 20 inch depth, the LMS2 can be used to mount large studio monitors including ATC Loudspeakers' SCM50A and SCM100A (vertical) speakers.

CONSTRUCTED FOR ADJUSTABILITY

In contrast to the ADMID series, Sound Anchors have made the speaker support bars adjustable by cutting them in half. They attach to the upper cross piece mounting plates with two bars on the right and two on the left. The front to back length can be varied to accommodate different monitor depths. To make the upper cross piece width adjustable Sound Anchors manufactured the main support bar (1.5" square tubing) in two pieces and use a spacer made of rigid steel angle, with counter sunk through holes. The width is set in 1” increments. The counter sunk holes are aligned with tapped holes in the main support bars and secured in place with (4) flat head cap screws.

As with the upper cross piece, to make the stand width adjustable, the lower cross piece 1.5" square tubing was made in two parts. The same type of spacer (slightly different length) is provided to securely set the width of the base to match the upper cross piece width. The lower cross piece and the upright attach to the feet. The rigid steel angle spacer is not machined on the top allowing the stands to continue to accommodate sub placement or sub support bars. It also provides a finished look for the top of the base.
