The Flock Audio CX Standalone ModuleĀ is a powerful addition to any audio professional's setup. With its ability to route all types of analog audio signal levels through the PATCH series, the CX offers unparalleled flexibility and convenience for those who need to connect microphone and instrument level signals from their live tracking room to their favorite preamps and outboard gear.
Featuring eight mic/instrument level XLR/TRS combo inputs and eight line-level outputs, the CX offers eight assignable independent channels of 48V phantom power, allowing for seamless integration with the PATCH series via CX hardware. The unit is controlled through the PATCH APP and PATCH APP DX software, which can be installed on OSX, Windows, and iOS devices.
One of the key benefits of the CX is its ability to connect any type of analog audio signal to the PATCH series without any AD/DA conversion or latency, providing a 100% sonically transparent analog signal path. Additionally, the CX can be used as a standalone desk module or rack-mounted with the included rack ears.
