Product Description

The Dangerous Music 2-BUS-XT is a 16-channel analog summing mixer that features new ways to shape mixes. Using the same summing technology found in the groundbreaking 2-BUS+, the 2-BUS-XT delivers crisp, detailed and punchy mixes for those utilizing hybrid setups. A straightforward layout makes setup easy and the addition of two new color controls (X-Former and Coherence) allows users to dial in harmonic content and add warmth across their mixes. The company that’s revolutionized summing for over 20 years is back with a powerful new entry, and the 2-BUS-XT integrates easily to existing Dangerous systems for even more flexibility.

TWO NEW COLOR OPTIONS

With the addition of the X-Former and Coherence controls, the 2-BUS-XT makes it easy to impart harmonic character into your mixes, further shaping the sound of your summed tracks. The X-Former control utilizes specially-selected transformers that add 2nd order harmonics to your mixes, delivering low midrange warmth without mud. The Coherence option is set up for users add “dimensional asymmetry”—a gentle tightening of the source by subtly reducing harsh transients, widening the stereo image, and nudging the track forward, artifact free. Regardless of how you choose to utilize the color options at your fingertips, Dangerous’ acclaimed analog summing makes the new 2-BUS-XT a worthy new entry.

EASY INTEGRATION WITH EXISTING DANGEROUS MUSIC SYSTEMS

Use the 2-BUS-XT on its own, or cascade units together to allow for more channels of summing and processing. Dangerous Music specifically designed this piece to integrate with additional processors, so the functionality and ergonomics are tailored for easy use with a D-BOX+ or 2-BUS+.
