A straightforward layout makes setup easy and the addition of two new color controls (X-Former and Coherence) allows users to dial in harmonic content and add warmth across their mixes. The company that’s revolutionized summing for over 20 years is back with a powerful new entry, and the 2-BUS-XT integrates easily to existing Dangerous systems for even more flexibility.
With the addition of the X-Former and Coherence controls, the 2-BUS-XT makes it easy to impart harmonic character into your mixes, further shaping the sound of your summed tracks. The X-Former control utilizes specially-selected transformers that add 2nd order harmonics to your mixes, delivering low midrange warmth without mud. The Coherence option is set up for users add “dimensional asymmetry”—a gentle tightening of the source by subtly reducing harsh transients, widening the stereo image, and nudging the track forward, artifact free.
