But just as importantly, it is designed to make expressive playing far more accessible, bringing a new level of nuance and playability to many of the plug-ins, software instruments, and hardware that musicians already use every day. Combined with Ctrl-e, Expressive E’s free companion software, Osmose CE becomes more than a controller: it becomes a tightly integrated expressive music ecosystem, designed to make expressive playing immediate, musical, and easy to integrate into modern studio workflows.
At the heart of Osmose CE is the exact same expressive keybed technology used in the award-winning Osmose synthesizer. This is not a simplified version. It is the same core playing technology. What makes Osmose CE unique is not only its expressive depth, but the fact that it still feels familiar from the very first note. It plays like a keyboard musicians already know, while opening up new layers of articulation and control under the fingers.
