BLACK WAVETABLE VCO

Great, fat sounding wavetable VCO that features banks of selected waves: classical synths, FM synths, Russian heritage and others. Expansion ROM chips with extra wavetables are available to adapt the module to your style of making music.

BLACK VCO2 (2)

All-analog, highly accurate and stable VCO with four simultaneous waveform outputs, one octave down sub-oscillator and some unique features. Unlike harsh, logic divider based sub-oscillators, Black VCO2 transistor-based sub-oscillator generates distinct, rounded square wave. Furthermore, the Black VCO2 has built in SAW waveshaper and two modulation LFOs. Together with Black VCO Expander – waveform mixer you get massive analog sound source with plenty of patch points for modular use.

BLACK MULTIMODE VCF

Black Multimode VCF has simultaneous HP, BP and LP outputs and CV control over cutoff and resonance for serious modular patches. At the core of this VCF is a highly stable, custom multimode VCF chip AS3320 (produced in Riga, btw) and there's a bonus feature – a unique, adjustable germanium diode overdrive circuit on the VCF input.

BLACK LPG

Black LPG is designed from scratch featuring 2nd order lowpass VCF (the original Buchla lowpass gate was 1st order VCF) and VCA combo with distinct resonance circuit on top. Voltage control over VCF cutoff frequency/VCA offset and mode (VCF/VCF+VCA/VCA), as well as built in decay envelope generator makes it a versatile module for sound shaping in any modular setup.

BLACK EG

The Black Envelope Generator is a compact, fully analog envelope generator with some cool bonus features like gated loop and gate delay for nice acid basslines and very slow drones. It includes a looping feature (when the gate patchcable is patched, looping starts on gate on) and Gate Delay – the module outputs delayed gate signal after Attack stage. Chain up several (4-5) Envelope Generators, each with delayed gate to create evolving polyphonic synth-like pads!

BLACK QUAD VCA2 (2)

Black Quad VCA2 is a versatile four channel voltage controlled amplifier and mixer module for use in complex modular systems. Each channel has linear/logarithmic response selector and signal level indicator LED. All outputs are sequentially mixed and CV inputs are normalled to each other, so you can use the module in various configurations. If no CV is applied, the Black Quad VCA2 performs as a signal mixer, and the 4th channel is DC coupled for controlling CV sources, as well.

BLACK STEREO DELAY

Hi-fi stereo delay with a lot of unique features, based on our custom DSP engine. Tape, digital and ping-pong modes of delay, hold with overdub and delicate delay time and feedback control in combination with CV and trigger control over various parameters make this module not only great effects unit in your modular system but also - an instrument on its own.

BLACK OUTPUT

The Black Output Module is high quality output mixer and stereo panner with balanced outputs and a headphone amplifier for monitoring your modular masterpieces.

BLACK JOYSTICK2

4 channel (2 axis on each channel) multi functional CV and sound source – joystick, movement recorder, distinct LFO and drone/noise oscillator. It provides great interaction with the modular system and allows to develop unconventional modulation patterns easily.

BLACK MODULATOR

Fully analog modulation and noise source. This module has LFO/audio frequency oscillator with three simultaneous waveform outputs, Zener diode-based noise generator with three noise flavors and clockable S&H circuit.

BLACK MIXER/SPLITTER

Everyone who knows a bit more about electronics will point out that stackable patchcables are not a really wise choice for such sensitive things as musical instruments because they mechanically connect electrical signals that at best can cause undesired modulations or even damage the modules. Therefore the Black Mixer/Splitter module gives you a four independently buffered input mixer and a buffered output signal splitter in one module!

BLACK HOLE DSP2

Black Hole DSP2, an updated version of Black Hole DSP features 24 custom effects, designed in close co-operation of Erica Synths team rider KODEK and creator of SpinCAD software Gary Worsham. Each effect has 3 manually and CV controllable parameters, manual and CV control over sampling frequency for spanning from 48 kHz to really Lo-Fi crunchy sound and full analog dry/wet control. All effect parameter settings can be saved to the memory and instantly recalled with the effect, which makes Black Hole DSP II ideal for live performances.

BLACK CV TOOLS

Black CV Tools is fully analog CV and audio processor module designed for advanced manipulations with signals – mixing, scaling, offsetting, wave-shaping, et cetera. The module has several configurations achievable via jumpers on the back of the module.

BLACK SEQUENCER

The Erica Synths Black Sequencer takes classical modular sequencing to the next level by adding tons of features required for contemporary modular synthesizers.

2x104HP ALUMINUM TRAVEL CASE WITH LID

Erica Synths all aluminum travel case is slimmer and 25% lighter than regular plywood travel cases. It houses 2x104HP of Eurorack modules and the lid is deep enough to transport your modular with a patch ready for performance.
