EMI TG12410 Mastering/Transfer Console #112 (Vintage)
EMI 4-channel mastering / transfer console

Product Description

Rare EMI 4-channel tape-to-disc transfer mastering console.

The EMI TG12410 was custom designed and built by EMI's research department in Hayes, Middlesex, England, beginning in the late 60s. Made strictly for use in EMI studios around the world, this console was never available to the public. The same model desk is still in use today at Abbey Road's mastering studios.

The TG12410 has a sound so musical and unique that Chandler Ltd. released a plug-in emulation of the modules a few years back. But no plug-in can match the sound of the original. Very few of these consoles were ever made, and they hardly ever come up for sale. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of audio history!
