In celebration of their 10th anniversary, elysia has created the Elysia Karacter 500 Vinyl Allstars Limited Edition, with a stunning front panel hand-made from real records! Each individual module features a unique groove pattern based on the individual record from which it was crafted. The vinyl front panels are supported by a sepia-colored layer of acrylic glass, gently emphasizing the vintage vibe of this ultimate analog appearance.

This vinyl/acrylic panel is attached to an additional steel base plate, ensuring the stability of the front panel. The steel base is finished with a black powder coating to prevent oxidation and to blend into the color of the record.

Another carefully matched detail – anodized matte black aluminum knobs, manufactured exclusively for this limited edition. Cream-colored silkscreen graphics add the perfect final touch to the classic vibe of the Vinyl Allstars.

All these custom materials combine beautifully to create a very individual appearance rich in audio history – an outstanding black jewel in any 500 series rack for sure, completed by a set of included lens head screws matching the coherent look of this special edition.

The karacter 500 offers two individual channels that can be used in dual mono, linked stereo and even Mid/Side configuration, making it a remarkably flexible tool for any imaginable studio or live scenario. The karacter’s unique Color filter network allows subtle or extreme harmonics-frequency relation tweaks, while the integrated mix control for parallel signal processing helps to dial in just the right amount of enhancement or grit. Add THD generation with a soft touch, wide ranges of asymmetrical low noise clipping, massive sonic mayhem – an incredible range of options are available. Stepped potentiometers ensure a fast and precise recall of earlier settings.
