The Dramastic Audio Obsidian 500 Series Stereo Bus Compressor, through the use of several proprietary methods, performs a range of tasks unheard of from the average SSL type VCA bus compressor.

The Obsidian 500 is derived from the same circuit design as the regular 19” Rack unit, but also adds one more ratio to the party with the gentle 1.5:1 position. In addition to the release of the Obsidian 500, there will be a Dual Mono Expansion module available which gives you independent metering for each channel, and access to the side chain inputs, which can be crucial for many applications.
