Even though the standard tolerances on DPA recording microphones are extremely low, a stereo match is even closer. The specially selected DPA d:dicate 4011A Stereo Pair is matched within ±1 dB on both frequency response and sensitivity. The pair comes in a heavy-duty Peli Case for safe transportation and easy access to the microphones and accessories.
The ST4011A condenser microphone is renowned in recording studios and live applications around the world as an exceptional mic. State-of-the-art components have been carefully selected to provide optimal neutrality, accuracy and extremely low distortion.

I picked up a pair of the DPA 4011's and I am super happy with them. If you like how something really sounds they will capture it perfectly. I got them for classical recording but have been using them on regular band recordings lately. I just did a few days in a great studio and brought them in. The sound in the control room with no processing was exactly like standing next to the drums, piano or acoustic guitars we used them on. Very sweet, full sounding , accurate and dimensional. I use great omni's and small cardioid condensers pretty often. The DPA's are special.
