DPA 4022 – No Longer Available

Compact cardioid microphone, rear cable
MFR# 4022

Product Description

The Type 4022 is a phantom powered (P48) condenser microphone using the same type of cartridge as the famous Type 4011, but is preamplified using a build-in ultra-small thick-film mounted FET-preamplifier.  The 4022 has its cable (3m as standard) rear-mounted, for situations where the microphone needs to be suspended from its own cable or mounted on a stand.

The linear frequency response from 40 Hz to 20 kHz (±2 dB) together with the ultra-small design makes Type 4022 the perfect choice for all kinds of spot miking situations in TV studios or concert halls where near invisibility has to go hand in hand with studio quality audio

I would like to thank VK for the wonderful sales assistance, service and prices. This was my first purchase with you and it won't be my last. I only wish I'd discovered you years ago!

I had two Grammy wins this year - Ray LaMontagne & Carolina Chocolate Drops. Both made with help from Vintage King!

In almost 20 years in Pro audio buying, never did I receive a unit so well packed and exactly as described. Works flawlessly. The whole process has been so smooth. I will never hesitate to do business with you guys in the future and will recommend you to everyone I know.

This was my first experience buying something from Vintage King (although I surf the "used" categories on the website frequently!), and, despite being on the other side of the world, I had absolutely no trouble and everything went very smoothly.
