Product Description

The Cre8audio Capt'n Big-O is a fully analog oscillator designed in collaboration Pittsburgh Modular Synthesizers. It features the basic sine, triangle, saw, and square waveforms. A wave folder is routed by default to the sine wave for some added grit - it can also be be re-=patched to any of the waveforms. An onboard overdrive circuit provides 75x gain to any signal. Other features includes linear and exponential frequency modulation (FM), hard sync, and pulse-width modulation.

CRE8AUDIO CAPT'N BIG-O FEATURES:

  • 100% analog, original design (not an oscillator on a chip)
  • Sine, triangle, saw, and square waveforms
  • Wave folder/waveshaper routed by default to sine but patchable to any waveform or external source
  • Drive circuit is essentially a 75x overdriven VCA (5V output)
  • Linear and exponential frequency modulation (FM)
  • Hard sync
  • Pulse-width modulation
  • Full-range frequency range of oscillator with LFO through audible spectrum
  • -10V to +10V input voltage range of oscillator
