Product Description
The Cloud Microphones JRS-34-P Passive Ribbon Mic is ribbon mic patterned off vintage RCA ribbon mics renowned for their quality. Utilizing both modern and tried and true vintage technologies, the JRS-34-P is suited for recording instruments or vocals.
The JRS-34-P is the passive version of the JRS-34 and is otherwise the same build. The JRS-34-P requires a high gain preamp, or a Cloudlifter, and is influenced by the impedance loading and gain structure of the external preamp. This could be an advantage for an engineer with a selection of specialized preamps, seeking the widest range of sounds available.
