BURL Audio B2 Bomber DAC
Product Description
The Burl Audio B2 Bomber DAC is a neutral-sounding two-channel digital to analog converter designed for hyper-accurate monitoring. Equipped with Class A, discrete op-amps with passive filtering, the B2 Bomber DAC delivers deep lows, brilliant highs, and a spacious stereo spread.
HIGH-QUALITY COMPONENTS
Your sound is only as strong as the weakest link in your signal chain. Your mix may sound great but running it through a cheap DAC will color you mix, causing you to have to have to compensate in the box. For the best audio quality, you need a DAC designed to compliment the rest of your signal chain.
The B2 Bomber DAC utilizes unique Class A, discrete op-amps with passive filtering, making it the ideal monitoring solution for any project. Coupled with state-of-the-art conversion technology and incredibly low jitter clocking, the B2 Bomber DAC delivers unparalleled detail.
INTUITIVE INTERFACE
The Burl B2 Bomber DAC offers flexible routing for connecting to an array of digital audio devices. In addition to standard XLR audio and BNC word clock outputs, the Bomber features connections for Dante, SPDIF, Toslink and two AES inputs.
The Bomber DAC features a clean, sleek, intuitive interface that looks great in any studio. Quickly select your desired output level using the audiophile-quality six-position attenuator. Keep an eye on your signal using the high-definition meter with simultaneous RMS and peak indication. Quickly toggle between five different input sources to A/B different tracks.
Couple the B2 ADC with the B2 DAC for the B2 Bomber Master Signal Chain—ideal for recording, mixing or mastering.

Product Reviews
-
The most transparent D/A audio interface I've ever witnessed. It cares not what genre you run through it, everything is handled with excellent quality and each track in the mix is easy to work with. I could listen to music all day on this without fatigue. I suspect this is about as good as it gets at any price. manual sample rate switcher for internal clock could be a pain if you change sample rates often. The 1U rackmount box is very durable, the knobs and switch are heavy duty with an authoritative click. Meter is nice with RMS and Peak. Most of the heat in the unit is in the back left from the discrete op-amps, vents on sides and top for switching ps and op-amps. If you need unbalanced RCA you'll need a custom cable made by someone like blue jeans cable, they will need to float pin 3, do not ground pin 3!
tl;dr World-Class at attainable price.
