Tiptop Audio Buchla Model 245t Sequential Voltage Source Module (Demo Deal)

The Tiptop Audio Buchla Model 245t Sequential Voltage Source Module is an authentic replica of the renowned Buchla five-stage, four-row sequencer in Eurorack format. Adding to TipTop Audio and Buchla's collaboration recreating famous 200 series modules for Eurorack, the 245t is a true modern remake of the original Buchla 245. The 245t has two sections - a pulser section (voltage-controllable clock) with transport controls and main sequencer section which offers four rows of customizable five-step sequencing.

The pulser section includes a pulse and "ref" out, a saw wave perfectly in phase with the running clock. The pulse out features a definable length which acts as a pulse-width control that can be modulated for different gating/triggering patterns. The pulse cycle rate is determined by the internal time control. Time shifts for slowing down or speeding up can be applied by incoming control voltages with an attenuverter at the CV input. The pulser section also offers transport controls for start and stop, both of which include manual button control or pulse input for external triggering.

The main sequencer section includes four rows labeled A through D which provide five freely assignable stages for designing several CV sequences for pitch sequencing, filter tracking, etc. Combine the stage select inputs with the loop switches for selectable mini-sequencing, and introduce inverse, ping-pong, or random sequencing. Each stage outputs a trigger pulse, perfect for activating an envelope, creating new clock signal, or even selecting stages on other 245ts in your system.
